Alumni Spotlight: Tori Phillips with U.S. Women’s Beach Soccer National Team
Women's soccer alumna Tori Phillips continues her journey with the U.S. Women's Beach Soccer National Team this week at an international training camp in Nassau, Bahamas, running January 21–28.
During the camp, the Beach WNT will play its first-ever international friendlies against the Bahamas Women's Beach Soccer National Team, with matches scheduled for January 25 (3 p.m. local time), January 26 (7 p.m. local time), and January 27 (7 p.m. local time) at Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Stadium. The training and matches will serve as key preparation for the inaugural 2026 Concacaf Women's Beach Soccer Championship.
Tori made her Beach WNT debut in March 2024 in El Salvador, where the U.S. won the tournament featuring England, the Bahamas, and the host nation.
A standout member of the Hawks' 2018 24–0 State Championship team, Tori also coaches at San Juan Hills High School and with San Clemente Surf.
It caps an impressive year for Tori, who was named Surf National Select Coach of the Year last January at Nike Headquarters in Oregon, where more than 50 Surf clubs gathered to celebrate their achievements.
