Hawks 3 Lasers 0

The Hawks dominated a gritty Irvine Lasers team from start to finish in a comfortable 3-0 victory against the host team. Alex Vanous opened the scoring with a low, hard drive across the keeper on 15 minutes. Just 5 minutes later, Emma Carton was on hand to steer home the second after good work by Tara Hansel. Brianna Diaz twice went close and the Hawks took a 2-0 lead in to the break.

SCC began the second period as they had finished the first, and it was Diaz who grabbed the third goal from the top of the box  on the hour mark. Arianna Radilla was rarely troubled in goal as she collected the shut-out.

Tha Hawks play next on Friday, November 8th at 3pm against Fullerton College. Thanks to all those who travelled to see the team today.
